A Little Family History The
Dugosh farm is a Texas Century Farm in Bandera that was originally
established in 1863 by John and Franciska Dugosh. The farm boasts six
generations of subsistence farmers with the 4th and 5th generation
having supplied all the fresh produce for Ryan's Grocery, which was
more recently Ryan's youth center. The family lived off the fresh fruit,
produce and live stock so failure in farming was not an option and
meant starvation. The Dugosh farm is currently run by Roy and Danny
Dugosh continuing the age old farming traditions. In 2013 Dugosh farm
was approached with an opportunity to do more commercial farming and
ultimately led to the creation of Precision Agriculture LLC in 2014 by Danny and (Son and current owner) Clifton Dugosh. Our
goal is to bring centuries of agricultural knowledge applied with the
cutting edge science/technologies to provide private and commercial land owners
with services to increase success in farming, ranching, and wildlife
management. "A
people that take no pride in the noble achievements of remote ancestors
will never achieve anything worthy to be remembered with pride by
remote descendants" -Macauley |
